Join DVT—the trio of composer Damani Rhodes, vocalist VADIA, and poet Tongo Eisen-Martin—for a live performance of their album “Traveling Shoes” inside the exhibition “Dread Scott: The Body Politic.” Melding jazz, poetry, and soulful sounds “Traveling Shoes” explores Black life, political consciousness, community resistance, and liberation. Music begins promptly at 7pm. Seating limited, RSVP recommended. Bar in the lobby, through no drinks allowed in the gallery.
