What is Downtown First Thursday?

Downtown First Thursday is San Francisco's biggest and best block party! Every first Thursday, from 5-10pm, we take over Second Street between Market and Howard Streets with street performers, karaoke, food and crafts vendors, art activities, and a special headliner guest. RSVP for free.

The party starts at our Neighborhood Hang

Yerba Buena Partnership and the East Cut co-host a Neighborhood Hang at Minna Street during DFT's Howard Street Happy Hour, 5-7pm. Come by for a rotation of free activities, from face painting and giant coloring pages to glitter tattoos and a collage station. (Neighborhood hang is taking a break on September 3, see you in October!)
