Grants for a Thriving Neighborhood
As part of Yerba Buena Partnership’s commitment to improving the neighborhood, we award up to $400,000 to support public art, and projects and events that reinvigorate the neighborhood and create safe and welcoming opportunities for residents, workers, and visitors.
Grant Types

Neighborhood Activation Grants
With support from the Office of Economic and Workforce Development, the Partnership is able to provide Neighborhood Activation Grants of $2,500-15,000 to small businesses, community organizations, non profits, and event organizer LLCs who are bringing activities that inspire economic vitality in Yerba Buena. Individual artists are not eligible for this grant opportunity at this time.

Community Benefit Fund
With support from district property owners and donations, Community Benefit Grants are awarded to nonprofits in the amount of $2,500-25,000 to initiatives that create community spaces and foster a welcoming environment throughout the Yerba Buena neighborhood. Applications will open January 2027 for projects that will take place between July 1, 2027-June 30, 2028.
