San Francisco’s biggest South Asian celebration is back, and for the first time ever, it lands at Yerba Buena Gardens, one of downtown’s most iconic arts and cultural destinations.
On July 24 and November 13, Yerba Buena Gardens, Jessie Square, and Yerba Buena Lane will transform into a vibrant, open-air celebration of music, dance, food, and culture—bringing together community, creativity, and connection in the heart of downtown.
As the only outdoor celebration of its size and scale in the Bay Area dedicated to South Asian culture, Bhangra & Beats continues to create a space that is both rooted in tradition and alive with the energy of the Bay.
At the heart of it all is the vibrant Bhangra & Beats atmosphere, a family-friendly celebration where traditional Punjabi rhythms meet Bay Area energy. Non Stop Bhangra collective will once again lead the experience with its signature mix of interactive dance lessons, beautiful performances, live dhol drumming, DJs, and an open dance floor, all flowing into a lively marketplace with food vendors, local makers, community activations, restaurant and bar specials, and family-friendly activities.
