Esto no tiene nombre is a new work by Denice Frohman, a poet, performer, and educator whose work explores identity, race, gender, and social justice. This piece is a culmination of Frohman’s year-long residency at YBCA, where she has been developing new performance pieces that draw on her personal experiences and observations of the world around her. The work is a powerful and intimate exploration of the complexities of being a queer Latina woman in America, and it challenges audiences to confront their own biases and assumptions. The performance features Frohman’s signature spoken-word poetry, combined with elements of theater, dance, and visual art.
