A quintessential binding, the Coptic stitch gets its name from the Copts and was created in North Africa. This binding was originally sewn through slats of wood attaching a hardcover. Today many use this stitch to create unique designs along the spine or inside covered spine bindings.
Join instructor Alexandra Sarette in creating your own beautiful hardcover Coptic journal. The Coptic stitch is a great jumping-off point for beginner and intermediate binders. Join us!
