Details
In his largest installation ever, Jacob Hashimoto made over 70,000 kites from bamboo and special paper, all in different shapes, ranging from squares and circles to hexagons and more. Arranged in a floating assemblage called Giant Arc, these patterns are inspired by the landscape of the Bay Area.
Join the artist from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and learn how to make a kite of your own while immersed in the installation, then stay and keep creating. No experience is required, and all ages are welcome!
