Mary McCue is a recognized national leader in planning, developing and managing vibrant public space in urban settings.   As President and CEO of MJM Management Group (MJMMG), she leads a multi-disciplinary team that manages San Francisco’s Union Square Park and Yerba Buena Garden, and services many other parks and special purpose districts in San Francisco.

In addition to management and activation of public space, Mary advises governments, property owners, developers and others on how to create public space that excites visitors, has a robust financial base, and is environmentally sustainable.   Recently, she advised on the Los Angeles Grand Avenue Civic Park with architect Frank Gehry, landscape architect Mark Rios, and Urban Related.

Mary’s focus on rigorous program management is complimented by a strong creative background and entrepreneurial spirit.  She brings two decades of experience in event production and management as well as community organizing and arts administration to the task of not just managing, but activating public spaces.

As a result of her imagination and commitment, Mary has received prestigious awards including the Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence, the Koshland Civic Unity Award, and the Unsung Heroine Award from the Yerba Buena Alliance in recognition of her outstanding service to the Yerba Buena community

Mary McCue is a member of Lambda Alpha International.  She holds a B.A. degree in Social Science from San Francisco State University.  She is certified as a Commercial Real Property Administrator (RPA).
