Experience a Kids' Show by the Manilatown Ancestral Ensemble at the free Yerba Buena Gardens Festival. Held outdoors in the Children's Garden, this performance introduces young audiences to the vibrant pre-colonial music, dance, and attire traditions of the Southern and Northern Philippines (Mindanao and Kalinga regions). Trained by indigenous culture bearers, the ensemble shares the joyful and unifying power of tribal polyrhythmic percussion, song, and dance in this engaging program designed specifically for children.
