A City in Progress

This project aims to activate and enliven the Minna St and Natoma St corridors between the Transbay Transit Center and the Yerba Buena Gardens area corridors by implementing streetscape improvements, pedestrian safety improvements, and public art.

SF Public Works has hired Mitchell Engineering to perform vital infrastructure improvements along Folsom Street between 2nd Street to 11th Street. The project scope of work consists of sewer and water replacement, curb ramp reconstruction, pavement renovation landscaping, street lighting, and traffic signals.

The eight-month construction will include trenching in the middle of Mission Street from Anthony Street to between 4th and 5th streets, upgrading underground cables and feeder circuits, as well as upgrading six curb ramps to meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements.
