🎃 Spooky Clean Up Crawl 2025 👻

In partnership with the San Francisco Environment Department

Hunter Pence and the Healthy Planet Project are back — and this year’s Spooky Clean Up Crawl is bigger, bolder, and spookier than ever! Hunter and Lexi can’t wait to host volunteers of all ages for a meaningful community service project that mixes climate action with costumes, contests, and community fun.

Teams of volunteers will face off in a friendly competition for cleanup glory, win prizes for top costumes, and then celebrate with lunch, treats, and meet & greet with Hunter Pence. Local vendors will keep the good vibes (and climate action) going all afternoon.

Together, we’re turning San Francisco’s spooky spirit into real impact — cleaning up our city, building community, and making the planet a little healthier. Get ready for opportunities including:

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

9:30 am - Optional group tour of Yerba Buena Gardens

10:00am – Check In

10:30am – 12:00pm – Spooky Clean Up Crawl

12:00pm – Zero Waste Program + Clean Up Champions Announced

12:30pm - Lunch + Costume Contest

 

DETAILS

- Exact meeting location at Yerba Buena Gardens will be provided upon registration, along with parking instructions.

- Volunteers will be required to sign a waiver form and photo release form.

- All ages welcome. Children under 14 years old require a chaperone. Children left unattended will be unable to participate in the events.

- Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a reusable water bottle. Please avoid single use plastic.

- Costumes are highly encouraged, but please avoid any form of weapons, full masks, or dangerous props.

- All supplies will be provided to you - trash pickers, trash bags, gloves.

 

NOTE: Space is limited. Please only register for volunteers who are guaranteed to attend. We understand plans change. We kindly ask that you cancel should you learn you are unable to attend.
