Create art inspired by programs at YBCA in this series of drop-in art workshops for participants of all ages. Each workshop will explore different practices and art-making methods. Materials will be provided, and participants will be able to take their artwork home as a souvenir.
Play around with shapes, color, and imagery by designing a figurative silhouette collage using felt. Layer abstract shapes and work intuitively by combining memory and imagination to develop a complex composition. This workshop is inspired by Diedrick Brackens’ solo exhibition, presented by YBCA.
