Community Benefit Fund

Our annual Community Benefit Grants help spur interest, economic activity and community well-being among Yerba Buena’s cultural, arts and small businesses. The grants are possible with generous support by district residents, businesses and donations. Together, we help Yerba Buena thrive.

Application Information

The Community Benefit Fund provides grants to non-profit organizations’ projects that will activate and support the Yerba Buena neighborhood.

Fund Announcement

Grants are awarded to nonprofits that support public art and projects, activities, exhibits, and events that reinvigorate the neighborhood and create safe and welcoming opportunities for residents, employees, and visitors.

Successful grant applications must meet the eligibility criteria enclosed and be either a public art or community building/neighborhood activation initiative.

Applicants seeking funding of $1,000-$5,000 may present a letter with project and organization background rather than the full application required for larger grant requests. When preparing application budget, please know that the Community Benefit Fund support can comprise no more than 75% of the project budget for mini-grants.
