Acknowledging their contribution to the neighborhood in keeping the Moscone convention full which has an impact on the area’s local hotels, restaurants and retail and keeping the area a vibrant area for all

Unsung Hero Award: Brian Boitano
Acknowledged for his role at the Yerba Buena Bowling & Skating Center to make the Yerba Buena neighborhood an area for excellence for youth in athletics and to acknowledge him as an olympic skater who has been the Alliance MC the past few years at the community event

Special Recognition, Guardian of the Yerba Buena Gardens Award: Willie Abasta, TODCO
Acknowledged for 30 plus years of dedicated service at TODCO, the area’s senior housing, to make the Yerba Buena neighborhood safe and welcoming for seniors
